Needed a new desk chair, didn't want the Big Box experience. Really glad I tried Smart Buy. Tom was very patient and guided us through the various offerings, pointing out the pluses and minuses. Gave us plenty of time to try things out and come to a great choice. Really great experience. Won't go anywhere else for future needs.

Compared to Office Depot and other stores I shopped, Smart Buy has a much larger selection to choose from, while still being reasonably priced. My salesman, Blake, was super helpful. I'll definitely recommend this place to friends.

Such kind and helpful owners. Wanted to replace the arms on my office chair. The gentleman helped me save money by telling me we could just replace the pads. He got the chair out of my car brought it into the store and found replacement pads at VERY reasonable price. Then he helped me load it up again all within 10 minutes. Such great customer service. Highly recommend this place!

Smart Buy Office Furniture is amazing! We are full time RVer's and fitting anything into an RV can be challenging. It was no sweat for their team to work with the dimensions given and create a desk for getting business done. Plus, the chair is comfortable and rather swanky. I highly recommend!

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks for your service! The desks have worked out perfectly. Blake Walsh knew we had a bad customer service experience with another company and he made sure he met and exceeded our expectations. We ordered the same desk that we previously ordered from the other company that were on back order for well over 6 weeks and saved well over $800. Not to mention that we received them in less than an week. Their delivery driver did a great job as well. Cleaned up after himself, showed me how the locks worked, explained that they had a master key and/or that we could reorder keys if need be, ect… So thanks again! You have earned our business and if anything else comes up that we will be in need of around the office I will be coming to you! AND referring to anybody that ask. This is an excellent place to shop for used, high-quality office furniture -- very highly recommended.I purchased two ergonomic desk chairs at Smart Buy on 11/16/2015, and had a very positive experience. Tom D. had a large variety of chairs for sale at different price levels, and the personalized service was top-notch. He was very welcoming, made a point of understanding both my needs and my budget, and then guided me to various chairs that might be good options. Tom really focuses on educating his customers; he knew all about the adjustment possibilities and also the construction of each model, and was very glad to share this knowledge with me. He could clearly explain the pros and cons of each option, but there was no high-pressure sales pitch, and I could take as much time as I wanted to try out anything in the store. I definitely felt like I learned a lot, and he was willing to negotiate a bit on the price so that I could get my top choices and still stay within my budget. I walked away with a very good deal on two very nice chairs that will serve me well for years.Seriously, don't buy new or used office furniture until you've visited this store!

This is a wonderful place to buy your office furniture, I highly encourage everyone to go here. My fiancé and I went into Smart Buy to buy a new computer chair and desk. Tom was an excellent person to work with. He is very knowledgeable and seems dedicated to making sure his clients make an informed purchase that they will enjoy for years to come. He was respectful of our budget, and took time to not only show us, but explain to us our options. He demonstrated the value in each, and when we made a decision, he offered us an incredibly fair price. His wife, Twyla, was also very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy and maintain our product after the purchase.Delivery was prompt and very reasonable. They will even help you set up your new furniture, and haul the old away if you wish. Should we ever need to buy more, we will definitely be going to back to Smart Buy. Thank you, Tom and Twyla!

I am updating my office and stopped in Smart Buy as a result of a google search for used office furniture. I almost didn't make that "last stop of the day," but I am so glad I did! Tom greeted me immediately and was very friendly and interested in the overall picture of the changes I am making. This was important to me, as these changes are a big part of my professional and personal development. I wanted to buy from someone who was interested in really helping me get furniture that was going to work well, rather than just trying to sell me something. Tom was supportive, knowledgable, and patient. It took me some time to decide on the particular desk that would work best for my space, and he worked with me through the process, encouraging me to bring in my flooring and paint samples to make sure it all matched well. He was involved, giving me helpful feedback, but not pushy or intrusive. He also showed me some used, or scratch and dent items that were virtually like new, and created a package deal of sorts which allowed me to have a discount. This was so helpful, as I am definitely on a budget. From beginning to end it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience working with Tom...and it was certainly a welcome change to deal with a business owner who cares about the needs of his customers. I highly recommend Tom and Smart Buy if you're considering a change in your office or furnishing an office. He has high quality furniture, very reasonably priced, and will help you get what you need.

Smart Buy lives up to its name. I purchased a desk chair there from owner Tom Doane, an extremely personable fellow who went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that I found a chair that fit both me and my budget.Tom spent a lot of time personally guiding me through the huge selection of chairs on display in his showroom. He recommended new chairs to try based on my preferences and comments regarding what I liked or dislike about the chairs I had already sat in. He never pushed me to buy something I wasn't 100% satisfied with, and his genuine priority was to educate me about all of the potential models and materials, not just sell me any chair. I left Smart Buy with more knowledge about the differences between top-grain leather, split leather, and bonded leather than I even knew existed beforehand.The selection at Smart Buy is also great. I had initially looked for a chair at the big chain stores (Office Depot, etc.), and they had only a few models on display per store and the prices seemed high. Smart Buy had ten times the number of chairs and the prices were reasonable.It can be a little tough to find this place as it's set back from the road--I zoomed right past it my first attempt. But even if you miss it once, go back around the block and try again. A little bit of extra effort to find Smart Buy is well worth it, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience.I would highly recommend Smart Buy whether you're looking for an inexpensive chair for school or a high-quality chair for use at home or the office.

I have been blessed with the most amazing experience that someone could not even imagine. I have been doing business with Smart Buy owners Tom and Twyla Doane for almost 5 years. They have been amazing by offering the best quality in furniture and costumer service. I would not think of doing business anywhere else. They furnished our entire office in Cedar Park and they never hesitate, after all these years, to still send someone out to help us to maintain the furniture with the same excellence they did the first day they delivered the furniture in 2010. I am forever grateful.

I bought a Strata High Back office chair from Smart Buy back in 2006; it's a fantastic chair that has lasted me for 8 years of 40hr+ weeks and it's still in excellent condition! I was looking for an office chair in 2006; I wanted an Aeron, but a used Aeron was still in the $600+ range. The Strata has most of the same adjustable features and cost me $400 new. The guys at Smart Buy were great, helped me pick-out the chair, no pressure.The arm rests have started to tear after 8 years of heavy use; they weren't covered under warranty, but Smart Buy replaced them anyway. I've been considering upgrading to a Steelcase Gesture or Leap, but I just don't see the value for the money.

Tom was super friendly and knowledgeable and walked me through his different chairs and their features and advantages. Bought a wonderful office chair here today. Absolutely terrific people...they took the time to help me find just the right chair for me, and also took the time to chat...or rather, let me chat, lol. Great price on the chair. I would recommend them to anyone looking for office furniture.Note: When I saw the sign for the business, I could not tell where the business was...turn at the sign and keep driving all the way back past the empty building on the right, then turn right as you pass it...they will be ahead of you on the right.

We were looking to get a couple of new office chairs for our home. After going to a few office supply and furniture stores and being disappointed with the selections, we ended up at Smart Buy. The selection of chairs here is much larger and much better than anywhere else we looked. Instead of just finding one or two that I didn't hate, I had a hard time deciding between three or four that I actually liked! My wife and I were looking for two very different types of chair, and we each ended up finding one that was just right.The owner Tom was both knowledgeable and helpful. When the chair I bought didn't quite fit in our car, he actually drove it to our house in his SUV right then.

I am a small business owner and run a medical practice. We needed to enhance the appearance and functionality of our medical office. Smart buy and the owners Tom and Twyla Doane were outstanding start to finish. Tom used a computer aided software program to show us how the furniture would work within our existing office space. He was very honest, polite, professional and knowledgable. We ended-up purchasing 17 desks from Smart buy. We compared Smart buy to office depot and other local Austin office furniture stores. Hands-down Smart buy had the best product, price and customer service. I would highly recommend them to individuals or companies wanting to purchase nice office furniture such as desks and chairs. The purchase included delivery, installation and removal of our old existing office furniture. Thank you Smart Buy Office furniture. An extra two thumbs up for Tom!

I read other Google reviews and saw only 5 star ratings and I doubted any store could deserve such a rating. Well now I'm here giving Smart Buy a 5 star rating. Smart Buy is an excellent find, great value, outstanding office furniture, and the service is helpful - NOT PUSHY AT ALL! I wasted nearly 3 weeks searching stores in Austin for my home office furniture. I was in Smart Buy for less than 10 minutes before deciding EXACTLY what I wanted. From that point, Smart Buy helped fit my wants/needs into my budget and I left the store a VERY satisfied customer.Thank you Smart Buy for helping me get my home office off to a great start! I will continue shopping at Smart Buy for my home office needs.
